Wandered over to Longford Town Vs. Kildare County on Saturday night, again only shot until half time (I'm not a real photographer). Amazing what the extra light will do for you though!

Think my major problem is that I'm still shooting at stuff too far away from me, so not always getting nice sharp images. At least with the floodlights going out of the equation now, I can shoot into the corners of the pitch without them getting destroyed with dark shadows. Anyways C&C welcome. Full sets on Flickr and Pix.

Meant to say, particularly interested in which of these two people prefer. I liked the second one when reviewing them in camera, but when I got home, I thought the first one was better with his eyes open, lining up the ball.

1 and 3 are good but number two is a bit blurred. you should have used a faster speed or upped the ISO me thinks! would probably agree with your 2nd post .the first on ein that is much better. you can make out more players, his eyes are open and you've still captured the moment! could easily see this in the paper!

Some nice shots there. It's amazing what a difference light makes.

I prefer your second image of the bottom two images. Just my view.
