    just wondering if you can fit 16 inche alloys on to a punto mk2. the wheels on it now are 14s.

    A number of factors need to be considered, includint the tyres you plan on using to keep the speedo correct (see http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html), the offset on the new rims, the hub centre size and even the spacing and number of lugholes.

    I put 15's onto a Poontoe with a 50 profile tyre.. should be no probs with the same profile or 45's, depending on how much you want to fill the wheel arches...
