Tried a new Mirai 32" with the Sony default code (0000) and it worked . Tried it again a few days later on a model that looked identical and no joy.

Hi, i got the previous model @ christmas and cant find the code neither.

    http://www.mirai.eu/FAQ

Q: I need a code for my connected receiver / all in one box.
A: These codes are made by the manufacturer of the remote control. Please try the following codes: 0000, 0062, 1535, 1679 (if these codes don’t work, please contact us).

I did email them but got no answer.

    regards,

    Kieran

I contacted Sky about this issue before for a different TV. Their answer was basically that if the codes hadnt been given to Sky by the manufacturer then the remote probably wont be able to control the TV. Also there is a limit to the number of codes the remote can contain so older ones will often be discarded in newer remotes to make way for newer codes.
