I was looking at stores on eBay when I came across this one.

    http://stores.ebay.ie/STRINGS-AND-THINGS-GUITAR-WHOLESALE

They say that shipping to Ireland is free from the US. I must be missing something here because that looks too good to be true really. Has anyone ever dealt with them before? If it's correct I may very well take advantage of the weak dollar and get myself one of those sexy Schecter C-1 plus beasts.

They have good enough feedback and paypal so.

also, the prices seem to be legit.

Prices are normal from other USA sites like musiciansfriend etc.
But the free delivery is making it much cheaper.....cuts the customs cost too.

The SCHECTER C-1 EXOTIC STAR GUITAR QUILTED TOP BLUE is only €412.

Some people like myself have a problem with 'Made In Korea'
But the Schecter's are supposed to be amazing....
    How is yours?

I would not be worried by the "Made in Korea" tag. I have a G&L Tribute bass made there and it's almost as good as it's American counterpart.

I am not familiar with Schecters though. Has anyone any opinions on the Schecter Stiletto Elite bass ? It seems great value with the free shipping.
    Any comments welcome.

I've heard good things about them. Several guys over at HCBF have them. :)

I think I might order the Jeff Loomis seeing as he seems reputable.

Schecters are pretty amazing guitars. Americans get them at good prices, especially for the specs. Ltd's -400/500 series are made in Korea and they are very good models. So you dont have to worry about that!

    'Made in Korea'......meh!!! *shrugs shoulders*.
Now I've never played a 'Made in Japan' guitar so I obviously can't draw any comparisons.
I did do a lot of googling on the model I got before I bought it and didn't read anything bad about it, except for some people swapping out the pickups[EMG's].
The Schecter I have is a fine guitar and it is rock solid, have it a year and have had no problems with it, but I is only a bedroom player.
The past week or so I've been tempted to sell it so I can get myself an Edwards, some GAS inducing threads & posts on here lately :D

I have a Korean Schecter C7 hellraiser that I use all the time while my Japanese and American Soloists sit in cases except for weekends.
It is a superb quality guitar, with good hardware solid playability.

I have an Edwards Les Paul JS....made in Japan.
I also have a Gibson Les Paul Standard in ebony with 50's neck profile.

The Edwards is easier to play than the Gibson.....also the build quality is flawless.....only the best of hardware on the Edwards too.

I am going to sell the Gibson to finance a PRS McCarthy made in USA.

You can't go wrong for an Edwards.....best value for money guitar you could possibly get.

I'll take that shoddy unplayable Gibson off your hands for a good price then ;)
