    anyone happen to the the auctual rent allowence for a single person on disability ,and do many land lords helpful in this area

    Unfortunately most landlords don't seem to distinguish between people getting rent allowance due to disability or through unemployment.
    One landlord I know told me that he wouldn't take people with rent allowance as they're likely to be spending far more time in the house than working people and as a result the house is run down quicker.
    It's a pain but seems to be a fairly standard attitude.
