    Id have thunk Sky would have been able to provide slightly more info given they had a reporter on that flight.

    Provided their baggage was on the aircraft in the first place!

    It will probably have to night stop now as the crew will be out of hours.

    It must have been a major fault to divert to SNN. What company in SNN has 747-400 maintenance cover? They used to have limited Concorde cover in SNN.

    Yes it wont be leaving now until 1300 local tommorow. Its now parked on taxyway 7

    Chances are Shannon Aerospace could provide some sort of cover

    I should have added that the BA flights to SFO, LAX, HKG, NRT, MIA and JNB operate from Terminal 5. They moved with the shorthaul.
