I havent seen much about these around, but they look pretty cool.

Cornford has always been about super-boutique handwired stuff, used by the likes of Guthrie Govan, Rob Balducci & Richie Kotzen. Boutique meaning point to point, taking days to build an amp and hence costs a fortune. These new amps use PCB construction, and while they arent going to be 'cheap' but they're going to be a bit 'cheaper'.

They've got prices up on Andertons, £649.99 for the 30watt head, and £849.99 for the 50watt. Looks pretty cool if these prices are correct.

As soon as I read about these I decided I was gonna try and get the 30w head. Ill have to sell some stuff first though to justify it! I'd like to see a decent demo though, only seen Govan on utube. Bloody amatuer..;)

seems pretty cheap for them I must say. On GAK they prices were huge, but not sure what models so!

    Nice. :)

I'd love to see what circuits they're using. If anyone gets one... take photos of the board. :D

Good review in this months guitarist mag. They seem to love it, gave it their gold star award. They reviewed the 30 watt 1x12 (celestion vintage 30). Big heavy amp for a 1x12 apparently. Ive now found my dream amp though and blown my cash!

Yeah, I heard it got their 5-star review alright. Hopefully they'll put a scan up on their site/forum shortly.

Looks like its shaping up to be a good amp, if it sounds half as good as the PTP Cornfords i'd be very interested to check one out.

    There's a review I saw:

And here, poor quality but readable:

Looks pretty sweet, everything is solid and well built from the photos. 2XEL34, 3x12Ax7, one channel with a switchable gain boost, and a series effects loop, simple but does the job. The 30watt V30 combo comes in at under a grand, so looks like a nice alternative to the small Oranges and AC30 type amps.
