    hey all,
ive recently found a Ford Consul for sale - decent price and driving - its late 50`s early 60`s.
its also a bit of a do-er upper.

ive scoured the net for info on it but no joy.
    Anyone got any advice?
this will be my first classic, but ive a good idea what i`m at !

    thanks.

    join a club...

    if its a mark 1 consul - http://www.fivestars.co.uk/
    if its a mark 2 consul - http://www.fordconsul.co.uk/index.htm and http://www.freewebs.com/fordczzmkll/index.htm

I'd have search on ebay for a haynes manual for it and then you can check out the mechanicals etc of what you are buying...
