    ADAM BEYER
Alongside Stockholms Cari Lekebusch, Joel Mull and Jesper Dahlback, Adam Beyer has become synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden, which has quite literally shaken the world since the mid-nineties. From the driving percussive force of his Drumcode label to the more open electronic miasma on his current Truesoul and Mad Eye imprints, Beyer remains one of the biggest and most influential producer/DJs on the planet. Ever keen to continually evolve and develop, his three studio albums Decoded (Planet Rhythm, 1996), Protection (Drumcode, 1999) and Ignition Key (Truesoul, 2002) aptly show the Swedes studio development from raw diamond to the polished article. Hes come a long way from sneaking underage into Stockholms blossoming acid house scene but would also be the first to admit that hes still got just as long and interesting journey ahead of him. From listening to hard rock and Kiss at the tender age of 5, Adam Beyer was always fascinated by music and the black shiny discs he would struggle to save up and buy as a youngster in Stockholm. Whilst getting into hip hop and rap, Beyers young ears were suddenly opened to the new sounds emanating from Italy and the UK in 1987/88 via the "rakt over disk" radio show which played a mish-mash of the blossoming house music scene.

Beyers new style can be witnessed on his current mix CD for Fabric (May, 2005) which features tracks from the likes of Dominik Eulberg, 2 Dollar Egg and Alex Under - all themselves rising stars within the minimal techno fraternity. However, Drumcode does still exist but Beyer wants the label to also go through some changes. It will essentially still have the original feel and tempo but with a fresh sound. For me now it is not so important to release a lot of records, states Beyer. Its more about releasing records that matter and records that have a longer lasting life. I want to look back and say wow, I did that. I want to feel that I represented something and I think that things like that become more important with age. What shape or form that takes is hard to tell. The future couldnt be in safer hands.

    SLAM
Slam have played all around the world, championing UK underground electronic music, whilst always living and working in their home base of Glasgow, where they have helped to develop and influence one of the best music and party cities anywhere. Ask any of the bands and DJs who have performed at their monthly Pressure parties. People like Vitalic, Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet and Andrew Weatherall all cite the city and the club as being amongst their favourite in the world. When you add that Slam are currently preparing their 12th production of their annual, Slam Tent (15000 capacity) at the T in The Park festival in Scotland, (which sold out in an hour again this year), then you start to get a feel for the passion for their scene and their music that Orde Meikle and Stuart McMillan have. The label they created in 1991, Soma is another example of their dedication to the cause. At a time where its daunting to be an independent label, Soma are incessant in their march forward, confirming their position in dance music history. Soma s new and established artists like Decimal, Silicone Soul, Alex Smoke, Vector Lovers, The Black Dog and Funk D Void all help to make their label one of the most forward thinking around.

    Fergie.

2008 couldn t be busier for Fergie. Regularly playing at clubs such as Firefly, Shine, The Stiff Kitten, he maintains an international pedigree which has seen him play at Sonar(Barcelona) Metropolis(Bulgaria),Meganite(Ibiza), Magazinni Generalli (Italy), the Berlin Love Parade and of course almost a decade in Ibiza. Add to that a whirlwind of gigs that took in Hong Kong, Australia, Israel, Poland, and America where he even done a 7 day tour of the Curran-Holding Prison Correctional Facility (CFCF) in Philadelphia which wasn t listed on the tour schedule!
The producer of stunningly good techno that has seen the likes of Slam, Laurent Garnier and Phil Kieran and Dubfire smash floors all over with his tunes and the man whose Excentric project is making a real impact in clubland on three different levels; pushing new talent, putting on events and releasing exciting music.
Fergie is firing on all cylinders at the moment with his recently released THE ME EP on Excentric Muzik climbing high in the techno charts on Beatport. It s gaining huge support from some of the industry s most respected DJs, with across the board appeal to many techno exponents. Add to this a collaboration with Gregor Tresher that spawned Recluse recently released on the on the Great Carnival Stuff album. A further Great Stuff Olympic album due to be released later this year will feature a track from each country with Fergie representing Ireland. Re-mixes due out include Bigger than Jesus Itchy Glitchy Spider (Fergie rmx) on Silver Planet and King Unique Hinode (Fergie rmx) due out on their Curfew imprint.
His exclusive Excentric nights have been ripping up dance floors across the UK at venues that include Ice Factory bi monthly (Perth) The Custard Factory (B/Ham) and The THELKA (Bristol) not to mention 13 weeks in Ibiza and have been featuring guests such as Slam, Phil Kieran, Gregor Tresher, Anderson Noise,Tom Pooks, Silicone Soul, Funk D Void and Pyscatron as well as some exciting, fresh new talent from his own Excentric Artist Agency, Bigger than Jesus, Henry Von, Jus Phil, Dan Doran, JordanX and Ken the Men.

    PAN POT
A pan-pot is a simple, workaday knob, given to side-to-side flip-flopping and not much else. Pan-Pot, on the other hand, are a brilliantly multidimensional Berlin duo currently twisting house and techno fans into rapturous fits.
In just a few short years, Pan-Pot the duo comprised of Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix have become a central presence in electronic dance music s most advanced sectors. Their rise parallels that of their home label mobilee, coming at a time when established categories are breaking down and accepted notions of minimal (please) are giving way to an unprecedented degree of dynamism on demanding dancefloors. Another mobilee signee, Marco Resmann, was a founding member of the group, but has since left to concentrate on his solo work.
Pan-Pot s vinyl debut came in May 2005 with the Popy & Caste EP (mobilee002), featuring two cuts bursting with gritty, dirty funk, as though they d scraped all the gunk from beneath the knobs of their gear, packed it into a ball and sent it rolling across the nightclub. Since then, in addition to their contribution to the Extra EP (mobilee005 plus), backing Daniel Stefanik s anthemic banger The Bells, they ve released three more EPs on mobilee (Obscenity, mobilee005; Black Lodge, mobilee012; and What Is What, mobilee023) and two on Einmaleins Musik. Their kinetic, undulating grooves have proved particularly tempting to other producers Jesse Rose, Lee Van Dowski, Agn s, Barem and Camea have all taken (pot)shots at reworking the group s tunes and their own remixing skills are increasingly in demand: Pan-Pot have put their immediately recognizable spin on tracks by Misc., Anja Schneider & Sebo K, Tim Xavier, Dapayk Solo, Sweet n Candy, and Dami n Schwartz, among others.
The release of their debut album marks yet another milestone for the group. Appropriately titled Pan-O-Rama, the record which has the honor of being the first artist album released on mobilee offers a 360-degree tour of techno at its most twisted, balancing ominous atmospherics with an unusual lightness of touch, and running classic machine music through silicon s digital wringer.
They may name themselves after a piece of gear, but Pan-Pot s music is ultimately about moving bodies, not knobs. Both live and as DJs, Pan-Pot deliver on that promise with sets that rope together crisply minimal, coolly restrained techno and hot and heavy house. Anyone who s ever played with an analog synthesizer knows that all those pots and dials are there to be touched; Pan-Pot reaches out and touches right back with a love slap from the heart of the Berlin underground.

    Acii Tone
Established in 2007 by rising producers Gavin Lynch, Al Keegan and Russell Cooley, it originally was planned as a platform for the release of their own materials but with the rising talent of producers both home and abroad they thought it prudent to provide a platform to all who meet their standards, the idea of the label is simple...3 colours, 3 choices, however within each colour awaits numerous artists and musical experiences. So within one label there are three....

AciitoneRed caters for dark twisted minimal techno and while having the ability to destroy any dance floor also contains charismatics to become regular listening for anyone outside of club walls.

AciitoneGreen is all about big tunes which are written for one reason, to destroy any club at anytime and to provide a DJ with the tools to make his set the one that stands out as the freshest and most original of the night.

AciiToneBlue is more about music, from deep breaks to experimental rock right down to soul and experimental electronica, the intent being to shine a light over all the unheard talent of today.

With a string of releases planned for the future and the prospects of working with some of the worlds rising talents of all genres of music, expect to hear the freshest music in years from right here at Aciitone.

    Hardcell.jpg

    HARDCELL
Highly respected for his work on labels such as: Skunkworks, Devil's Choice, MANKIND, etc. His techno is dark, deep, and hypnotizing. Hardcell, aka Nils Danielsson, came in contact with electronic music in the early 90's and within short time he discovered techno and the underground rave scene. Inspired by the trax he heard and the spirit of techno parties, making music himself became the only natural progression. After getting his hands on a couple of 1200's, Hardcell was soon to be a frequent act at underground parties in Stockholm and around the rest of Sweden. The main theme in his work, as well in the studio as by the decks, has been and still is, the search for that indescribable feeling that is "techno". The Hardcell interpretation is dark, deep and mechanic with a driving percussion programming that often turns tribal. The monotony is essential to grant every DJ a flexible tool, as well as hypnotizing the exhausted crowd.
Having put out most of his work within Diode Music and mainly on the Skunkworks project, Hardcell is now widening his spectre to include releases and remixes for a number of international top labels. He recently started a project for melodic tech-house collisions under the name of Nils Danielsson. Also, the numerous co-producions with Johan Bacto has led to the Devil s Choice project, supplying floors all over with dark cuts and deep workouts.

    FROM KARAOKE TO STARDOM
From Karaoke to Stardom is Jeremy Herpe, a 30 year old parisian producer. After years of guitar trying to play the weirdest chords, he bought his first computer and since then, cant stop making weird noises in his bedroom. He started getting into electronic music through electronica, from early Warp to ultra minimalists like Alva Noto, Ikeda & Pan Sonic. This led him to labels like Mille Plateaux & Force Inc who made him discover real Intelligent Dance Music. His influences include Plastikman, Murcof, Akufen, to name a few. He works now in a big record shop in Paris, which is a great way for discovering new sounds and older sounds and then incorporating this in his tracks (by any means necessary).

    20060403122841-tadeo2.jpg

    Tadeo
He is influenced by various branches of electronic music, especially by Detroit techno and Cristian Vogel, Neil Landstrum, Plastikman or Jeff Mills productions. In his first stage, he created together with Dj Slick the collective Domestic Techno, carrying out parties in several basements of their city.

Throughout time he has tested almost every single style inside electronic and dance music. After a large period of techno investigation and development, Tadeo runs his actual art collective Javha oriented to all kinds of art expressions, and Cyclical Tracks, a conceptual techno label. In this second stage, he purifies his technique and studies with care the connection with audience, trying to make this connection the principal resource of his sets. Since then and little by little, minimal and electronic sounds start to become a natural rule both in his sets and productions. He also has predilection for dub and sounds which emanate from jamaican music. In may 2004 he released his first 12" in his own label, Cyclical Tracks, and a remix for Alex Under in CMYK002. In November 2004 comes out Dub Infection (APNEA002), featuring the techno-dub legend Paul St. Hilaire aka Tikiman.
In june 2005 Tadeo releases Lup! (CT-02): this time music takes a step away from dub while his detroit techno influences are more noticeable... Dark and unstoppable dance, pure groove that impresses artists of the likes of Magda, Troy Pierce, Luciano, Damian Lazarus, Marco Carola...
