    Hi guys,

I took this a few weeks ago in Glenshee, in the cairngorms.
We were driving by, and although i wasnt dressed for the occasion, or really have the equipment (no tripod) I had to get out of the car and shoot something.

Considering the conditions and preparation im fairly happy with it, but id like a wee bit C&C in terms of composition and processing as im heading back up that way next week.
I also know about the marks on the lens...ignore them please ;)

I was just about to say "clean yo lens" until i actually read your post! I actually really like this capture, i love the lines. The colours are really nice too, you'd think they'd be more or less black and white but the blue sky is pretty cool. Nice:)

lol the snow was coming right into my face/lens so there was nothing i could do about it.
Ill get round to cloning them out eventually!

It's a great shot, it almost looks like a charcoal drawing. The lines are great as well. It deserves a bit of cloning to take out the snow-spots on the lens.
    Well done!:)

Looks good to me. Well captured and I find myself drawn into it and over to the hill to the right. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image. Nice line through the photo. Good detail in the image too. It really works - aside from the spots.

Looking at the forecast for this week I would say you have a great chance, bring the wooly hat and gloves though.:)

Got up here tonight....seriously snowy, i can hardly see two feet in front of me!
But of a problem though, my Father In Law ran over my Tripod!!!:mad:

Im lucky on two points, two bags containing mines and my wifes cameras, and all our collective lenses was sitting two inches away from it...
And it was only a cheapo Jessops job.

Does make it awkward for getting the Moon shot i was looking for this week, and also curtails my landscape activity dammit.

Cheers for the comments guys, mucho appreciado. :D
