Trabant man loses his last appeal

A Derbyshire man who has spent almost 20 years collecting East German Trabant cars has lost his final appeal against an order to remove them.

Graham Goodall, 61, who lives in Middleton-by-Youlgreave, has been involved in a dispute with the Peak District Park Authority since 2004.

The authority issued planning notices to remove 40 of his 49 vehicles.

    Market Glut!

Trabby prices fall through the floor (after the battery).

They were a car I always wanted to have (my attraction to shíte cars strikes again!)

I've only ever seen two in this country, one with German plates and the other with Polish plates.

I doubt they'd pass the NCT on emission grounds though.

There was one burnt out in Cork a few months back. It was parked on the side of the road for about week, and I was contemplating trying to acquire it, but the next I saw it was melted all over the tarmac.
