I know we have only just finished today's racing but i didnt do too bad so maybe if i pick tommorows runners today i might do well.

13:45 Serabad E/W- Ran in top class race last time against Franchoek and Celestial Halo and had a similar sort of run to Gone to Lunch who ran well today.

14:15 No winner at Cheltenham as won at Aintree yet, but Tidal Bay ive always backed, also has previously won at Aintree so track doesnt matter. However the trainer was looking at running Tidal Bay in the R&S Chase at Cheltenham which probably means he stays well and this will be a very short and easy 2m. I really dont like this race but think it will be out of front two but may go for Takeroc because of the bigger price.

14:50 AL Eile Win (NAP) LOVES AINTREE. Has beaten Inglis Drever, Exotic Dancer, Rooster booster all at Aintree.

15:25 Mendo E/W Ran at Cheltenham and finished 4th in Coral Cup, when being badly hampered over a flight and up home run in. Also was 3rd at Aintree previously beating Refinement and Noland when the winner was 50-1.

16:15 picks only- BUTLERS CABIN E/W, BEWLEYS BERRY E/W, COMPLY OR DIE E/W, L'AMI E/W.

17:00 My Petra WIN, Forest Leaves E/W. Must be between these two.

17:35 Captain Oscar E/W and Dayia E/W. Captain Oscar because was a close 2nd to Mad Max who then went on and won a Class 1 race. Dayia because has actually won a class 1 race and will be getting lots of weight from others.

struggling to find a bet in the national. If cloudy lane stays he'll win but I have doubts that he will.

Backed Tidal bay at 7/4, a huge price against another nicholls hyp horse who won an egg and spoon race at Sandown and was thrashed by Krugarova in France over hurdles. No weight allowance either. Knowing my form this week he's probably another Kauto/Master Minded tho!!! Aintree hurdle is a tough race, I'd be against My Lay The Slow One tho.

had 150 on at 7/4, crazy price altho I'll get hit with a R4 (hopefully only 5c)

EDIT: No R4 with bluesquare, nice one

Yup, nice to see a well backed horse do the business and a load of fancied ones fill the places.

Great result for punters, altho the SPs were a holy disgrace on some horses. Over rounds in the national are usually horrendous, this year was no different.

Well back winner and the places would be very popular too, good enuf for the f*ckers!!

Butlers Cabin looked the unlucky horse, was still going well when he came to grief and he'd no stamina questions to answer either. Bewleys Berry didn't stay.

I'd got a tip for King John's Castle a few weeks back, didn't back it tho as I thought it had no chance of staying. Great ride from Carberry to nurse him round.

lol, seems I backed Slim Pickings last night while half asleep, I had 2nd through 5th. I backed 8 horses, 6 finished, 2-5 and Hedgehunter, had $130 on altogether, $92 return, Ill settle for that.

Poor old McKelvey was killed after a fall.
He was looking pretty good before the race too, huge horse.
    Came 2nd last year

    Was he? :(

Thought I saw him pulling him up but I'm obvioulsy mistaken - was keeping an eye on him as I backed him last year

Really puts a downer on the whole thing, especially since he was so promising

It does indeed. Feel bad now...I was only cursing him the other day because I backed him to win last year and laid the winner. All is forgiven

McKelvey it looks like kind of slipped after jumping the fence before Bechers, and rolled into a railings, quite weird but must have baldy injured himself and was humanely killed. I spotted it on the re-run, if u look behind the runners as they jump Bechers 2nd time round on the right hand side you can see McKelvey roll and then what happens i dont know as its hidden in a slight dip.
