UPC DVR turning itself on?

Every night before bed I put the DVR in standby. I noticed lately it's been on in the mornings and assumed I'd forgotten to turn it off. This morning I noticed this and turned it off. I came home from work and it was back on. Anyone else noticed this? Any reason it might be happening?
