msn wont let me sign in! help please

    hi,

    i just download the mac version of msn for my macbook yesterday but i've been tryn to sign in but it won't work for some reason

    i have a hotmail acc so and my internet works so not sure why..?

    any1 know why this is?

    Are you trying to connect at home, at work, in college?
    Where did you download MSN from?

    You could try a web-based site like meebo. I don't know if there are any problems on macs, worth a try.

    What he means is that the college has more than likely blocked access to MSN on their network. Its not at all uncommon.

    It basically means that your college has restricted access to certain components of the internet using what known as a proxy server.

    Obviously they don't want their students using college resources, computer time and network bandwidth for the likes of online gaming, MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger etc etc. They would rather you used these resources for academic purposes.

    Get you finger out dude, quick trying to chat up the chicks and do some study already.

    I was asking the OP can he use it from one of his college computers. Off course there a difference policies.
