    Ok, so my set-up is:

    - HTPC: Vista Premium & Asus HD3650 graphics card, onboard sound Asus P5K MB
    - Hauppauge PVR 150
    - SkyHD connected to PVR 150 via S-Video
    - SKyHD connected to Onkyo 605 Amp via optical and HDMI (when I don't want to use HTPC)
    - HPTC via HDMI to Onkyo for picture/DVD sound (coaxial)

In the Vista MCE set-up, I selected region: Ireland, area: Dublin, Satellite, Sky Digital Ireland, etc.. so it all seemed to go fine.

So just set this up today(all drivers, etc.. updated first) and here are my issues.

    1) I can view TV however the sound is ahead of picture i.e. I hear what they say, and then their lips follow. (I have lip sych set to 0ms on Sky box, and onkyo, and i cannot go negative)

    2) Some of the channels on the EPG are off, for example: 151 is E! Entertainment, however it should be 152.

    3) I can see channels which are unavailable e.g. ITV2, BBC3 in the listing but when I select it says "channel unavailable". Also, if I then hit the channel/program up button it moves to the next channel after the unavailable one, and not the one I am watching?

    Any advice welcome !

Ok, sorted my audio issue, forgot the run audio from the sky box to the pvr 150 card.

I think I can also edit the channels, which might fix my other issue, unless some knows of something else ?

    go in to guide settings,
you can manually edit the guide to change channel numbers and hide channels you havent subscribed to

Ok, have been doing this for a bit, and its real fun, not !!??

Where does MCE get the EPG from ? Is it microsofts own database or ? Is there no way for them to get it accurately updated ? Anyone know ?

its microsofts own database, with info provided, i believe, by zap-it.
there used to be an MS head on here that did the updates for us but hes long since disapeared.
head over to thegreenbutton.com, thats a site run by MS for mce users.
theres a subforum there to report guide inaccuracies and there fairly quick to sort it out.
