    Hi,

Am looking to take sunrise shots at Dublin coastal locations - can anyone recommend favourite places. Based in city...

    Thanks.

Howth - either down at the harbour or around the car park above the summit pub.

    Sandymount strand is good too.

Howth head, Dalkey, Killiney, Dun Laoghaire, Sandycove, Dollymount strand ... loads of great areas.

Also some opportunity in Skerries near the Martello tower. I'd say any of the beaches really.

Hi, try Rogerstown estuary in Rush. Its also good spot for birds(with feathers):) This area has had a good bit of work done over the last few years and is now unrecognisable from 10 years ago. Fingal C.C have put a mountain where the mud plains were, (a landfil site) but thankfully wildlife is returning, slowly. Peaceful Oh also try Naul village in North Co Dublin
