Work to quarters?

    I couldn't help but notice that traffic seems to be pretty light this week - especially considering the Easter holidays are over and the schools are back. I was wondering if there's a load of people off work or something? The company I work for announces results every three months, so at the end of every quarter everybody's working their balls off to try and get product shipped. A lot of these people then take a week or two off at the start of quarter. I know of some people who work for other corporations that do this too. How common is it?
