I am hoping to cover a patio ~ 50 sq metres with self binding gravel.I have been looking for suppliers and so far only have a company in Cork who charge 230euro per tonne for 'Breedon gravel' which comes from England and is a limestone gravel. After a little research I learned that it is the fines in a limestone gravel that produce the binding solid surface. Can anyone tell me if I could use any limestone gravel unwashed with fines at appropriate <10mm size and would Ballylusk dust be suitable?

    Did you get any feedback?
    Ever try it?

I was thinking of using the very same for my 50 sqm patio
