Fluid dynamics question

    This might be better suited to the physics forum, I'm not sure.

    What would happen if you filled the cockpit of an aeroplane full of water and put the pilot in there with an oxygen tank?
    Given that a person will float in water regardless of how much gravity he's feeling, would he still feel the same G-force when turning sharply?

    Yes, but more. He's now heavier with his oxygen tank.

    But is he? It could be complicated, bringing in archimedes, fluid resistance, the direction of the motion and the weight of the oxygen tank. That would be one nice free body diagram!

    Yeah, I had a feeling it was a bit more complicated than that.
    My guess is that he won't, but he'll feel increased pressure from the water pushing onto him.
