I have a sony ericsson k610i ph but the memory card is not sufficent to hold all my 5gb of music.

I am considering either buying the Sony 818 mp3 player or Upgrading my ph.

What are my options regarding decent capacity phones and what would people here advise.

The 818 has been recommended on other threads and also on the cnet review section but I think it doesnt have an Fm tuner. Is there an mp3 player of similar quality to the sony but with an Fm tuner?

Sorry for being so long winded. Thanks in advance to any replies

Theres a 618F with a tuner. Doesn't come with the same earphones though.

Most phones seem to be limited to either 2GB or 4GB of memory so that won't do for all your music obviously. I have a W810i and it was a novel idea listening to my music with my phone but the sound quality just wasn't as good as a dedicated MP3 player.
I did have a Cowon A3, sold that and bought an NWZ-A818 and I haven't regretted it since. Stunning MP3 player with superb sound quality. It comes bundled with a great set of earphones, but I use a big set of cans and it drives them fine.

As I said above, mobile phone capacity still seems to be a little limited unless you go for something like the Nokia N95 8GB but that's some serious money. You might be as well posting in the mobiles & pda forum for a reccomendation on a phone with lots of capacity.

i shall allow this thread to remain here as it seems the OP is more concerned on the media features of a device rather than it having a phone attached to it or not.

if the discussion becomes too heavily focused on the phone features it shall be moved.
