Typing Irish words?

    Hi guys,

    Somebody might be able to help me, when typing a word in Irish what way can the fadas be put on the words? What keys must i use?

    press Alt Gr (just right of the space bar) and the vowel together

    Thats what i thought it was alright but for some reason that won't work for me. Would it be something to do with my laptop?

    Control Panel > Regional and language settings > advanced. Set it to English(Ireland).
