ActivePerl module problem

I'm trying to install a module in ActivePerl using the ppm utility.

I've tried pointing to the online repository containing the ppd files and also downloading a zipped version and extracting to a local directory which I've also added to the repository.

No new packages seem to get added to ActivePerl that I can choose to install.

From the command line I've tried manually installing the packages as well. However I keep getting the message:
"ppm install failed: The PPD does not provide code to install for this platform"

I'm running on Windows 2000 Server so the platform should be supported.

    Anyone any clues??

    [RESOLVED]
Installed an older version of ActivePerl than the latest version which was installed. What a load of boll0^!!
