    hey,

does anyone know if amazon.co.uk will send watches to ireland?

its not per say a direct sale from amazon, amazon are selling on behalf of another company, their page lists delivery options worldwide, but amazons policy with selling stuff like this direct from them says they cannot

    link is here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/seller/at-a-glance.html?ie=UTF8&seller=A3K0J3DN0BLDU0

but the amazon page where the watch is listed says it only sends to the uk, but its not amazon sending it, its british watch company?

    so im a bit confused?

    cheers

If the items page says they only ship to the UK then that information comes from the seller not amazon so presumably the seller does not ship outside the UK.

Lately I'm getting cheesed off with this rule. It's interfering with our right to do business as other european countries do.

According to this article ,http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/12/18/ireland_amazon/ Ireland is being double taxed ,as the manufacturers of most goods contribute to this tarriff already.

Something will have to be done soon.
