Quick questions, my new edwards les paul custom has been in the grimy hands of customs since the 31st March and there is no sign of it being delivered. Is that sort of wait normal?

It should be released today. It all depends on how busy they are but it generally 2-3 days.

Cool, thanks feylya - i'll post some pics when i get it.

Yeah, i'd expect it fairly shortly, shouldn't take more than a few working days. The odd time it'd enter and leave customs in the same day, other times i've seen it take nearly a week. They get backlogged same as anyone else.

Just keep tracking it via the anpost website and you'll see when it gets released. You should get it the same day if it gets released early in the day, otherwise the next day. And make sure there's someone at the delivery address with money to pay the customs charges.

It is surprisingly low but zero buzz, i was messing around on it last night through the microcube and EVERYTHING sounded good, even the mistakes (and trust me there were many). The neck is amazing as well. I'm so damn happy with this guitar.

You're not helping with my Edwards GAS, I'm thinking about getting the p90 LP Custom.

    That couch is fantastic!

And the wooden floor is seamless, I'm impressed. That's some good quality floormaking!

Nice guitar....I have the Black John Sykes custom Les Paul.
I also have 2 Gibson Les Paul Standards and i can safely say that it's up there with them.....slightly better build quality from the Edwards than the Gibson and probably better hardware too.

Pity about the Toshiba HD DVD player......:D
Next port of call.....a Blu-Ray player.

I have just noticed a possible change you should make straight away.

Your bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan SH-6.
They are the metal pickups for Seymour.
Great for just metal.....but very muddy for anything from clean guitar right up to rock.

Not knocking your new axe....it's amazing......i know because i have one similar with SH-6 pickups.

You should change that one SH-6 in the bridge position to a SH-4.
It's the best all rounder for most guitars. Pick them up from the US on ebay for about €50 all in with postage.

Sorry no help here again but i've got to be honest. I had quite high expectations for the Edwards and they've actually been surpassed.

It's ok, i had the blu-ray first :) just got the toshiba cheap for the free hd-dvds, wanted to see "The Thing" in high def.

I'll bear that in mind, i'm quite liking the sound at the minute but tis early days yet.

Try out your new Edwards at home and then try something similar, if you can borrow a mates guitar and see what they sound like.

Les Paul Customs should only come in one colour. Congratulations, you chose the right one. Looks awesome.
