    (For example Headshot size)

    Thanks

What budget are you working with? It will help to point you in the right direction.

Just realised I probably mis-interpreted the OP's query! Do you mean a printing service or a machine to sit on your desk and make prints?

I was thinking no more that €300. Tks.

Sorry. I meant a desktop printer to buy.

In that case, ignore my post unless you want very specific high quality prints processed.

I have a HP D5160 which does fantastic prints. The printer itself cost around 90E iirc. I use a mixture of HP and Canon paper in it. It prints up to A4 - I don't know if you want bigger. The key expense is the cartridges which I tend not to shirk on if you want high quality prints.

I may be willing (or rather could be convinced) to sell my Canon Pxima iP8500 ...

Here is an extermely (in fact quite scarily) detailed review

New cost was around €400 ... this was 2 1/2 years ago ... but the printer has not been used very heavily ...

It does up to A4 size ... The reason I'm thinking of selling is I that want the option to print A3+ and roll printing for panoramics ... so I'm looking at either the Epson 1900 or 2400 ...

PM me if you are interested ...

EDIT: I also have a pile of inks for it ... bought for a good price in the USA ...

+1 on the HP I have a Photosmart 8050 it's a great printer only cost 60 quid and the print quality is excellent - I recently had to do a last minute print job for a client who couldn't get his design to a printer in time - I ran off 500 A4 copies of a flyer (not photo quality obviously but still presentable) it didn't even flinch - won't be doing it again though way too much work and ink!

I use an epson R320, which is no longer available, but any of the 6 ink epsons (eg R285) should do a good job, and should be available for under €100:). If you really want to spend all of your budget, the epson R800 gets smashing reviews.

Aztec the Epson R320 is an A4 printer. Are you looking for A4 or A3?

Myself the Epson R2400 (A3 printer) is on my wish list. Argos do great deals on A4 photo printers and you can get a 3yr warranty as well for a little extra cheese.
