    Guys,

I'm suffering from brain freeze this morning and need a wee dig out.

I need the name of a native shrub that won't grow above one metre in height for a landscaping plan I'm doing here.

All replies will be gratefully received.

Glad to see you changed your name here for this

Prunus spinosa, Cornus sanguinea, Euonymus europaeus,
    Agus as bearla
    Blackthorn (Sloe), Dogwood, European Spindle

Euonymus is closest to the 1m mark, the others grow taller but can be maintained at 1m if trimmed.
These would be medium, eventually getting higher than 1m, I think all shrubs will eventually, other wise a bush or plant is needed

Here's a few more, these will stay smaller than those above.
The above being more tree like (they are all bear fruit/berries),

these ones are smaller, more bush like and have flowers

Buxus sempervirens ? - Box - slow growing evergreen can be clipped or left informal. Can be used as a stand alone or a hedge
or for acidic soil - Erica carnea (pink heather) low growing carpet forming
or Potentilla 'elizabeth' (not native) but nice flowerer

Too bloody true he doesnt know everything. This isnt the gardening forum.

Thread locked, smashey banned, 47 infractions given. And you are ordered to phone Gareth Austin for any more queries along these lines*

    *not necessarily true

And I could see reasons for moving this to the PI forum :D
