    I have one of these. I don't think the build quality of it is the best. The USb connecton tends to move around a lot within the casing. Mine stopped working after a few months!

    Would be interested in anyone else's opinion.

    Any that are well made and have fast data rates.

    read data rates range from 1mb/sec to 48mb/sec
    write range from 500kb/sec to 32mb/sec

    The one above states:
    Read speed of up to 12MB/s
    Write speed of up to 3MB/s
    So it isn't so good.
    For example (maths in my head) a16gb one would take about 18 mins more to read from that a 20mb/se drive.

    As with anything else, the faster the more expensive.

    Plus the more expensive seem to be far more rugged.
