Anyone having problems with www.cdwow.ie payments in the last while?

Either it says "details incorrect" (double-checked and they're not!) or it comes up with "cannot display page" in the Paynova section of the payment page once the payment details are submitted.

No. But Ive been waiting for Deadwood S3 for over a month. Usually only takes a week.

"cannot display page" is a timeout, so either your internet connection is a bit wonky or the server was having problems at the time.

Was it a credit card or Laser you were trying to use? I notice that cdwow.ie no longer accept Laser, so if that's what you were trying it could have said details incorrect.

Tusky, I've noticed Cdwow have been brutal slow for the last, eh, ages now. I was looking for Dexter at the weekend and Cdwow were the cheapest by far, so I said I'd give them a go. I'm in no hurry for it so I'm not too worried about delays. Ordered on Saturday and it's still pending dispatch today. Has your order even been posted yet?

Sick of using them, I'm just waiting on some stuff to arrive, then I've one more voucher to use up (pigsback), then I'm using play from now on. CDWow seem to take forever & have a lot of out of stocks even when you preorder

Email them, they're a joke. I was waiting for a cd for well over a month, emailed them and they said "Oops, we won't be getting that back in stock, here's your money back"

Remember to keep an eye on Sendit and Asda too, both of which allow you to pay in Sterling, so no crappy forced exchange rate.

Hi jor el, no it was a credit card & I've used it dozens of times with them before, and the net connection was fine. I checked with credit card company - they say all is well, so I got onto www.paynova.com (in Sweden) - they said it does happen sometimes, and they would look into it. So here's hoping!

BTW, the delivery times can be brutal alright sometimes. I'd think twice before ordering a new release (DVDs anyway) or any region 1 DVDs - these seem to be the only type I have problems with! Which sucks....! :p

Just to let yez know - it turned out to be a problem on Paynova's side - the next morning I had an email from them and all working OK again. The person I spoke to didn't know why that had happened to my details, but passed the matter onto their security dept.

No explanation as to why it happend in the 1st place though...
