Neteller Request

Trying to wire some money to my neteller account. They allow you to wire it to an Irish account now but when you initiate the deposit the IBAN they give you (which I need) is only 20 digits long. I'm pretty sure it needs to be 22 so if anyone knows it for netellers bank here (Barclays) then could you give it to me please?

    Thanks.

you shouldn't need the IBAN for an Irish account (I think?), just the sort code and account number. What number do you have? It should look something like IExxBARCxxxxxxxxxxxxxx where all the x's are digits, where are you missing digits?

edit: also you might be able to get the right details from their live support if that isn't where you got it in the first place

Missing digits are between IE and BARC IExxBARC. Live chat told me to email bankwires, still waiting on bankwires. Come to think of it neteller used to be a lot more prompt with things. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon, although I might not even need it as you said.

    Thanks for the help.

different countries have different amount of digits in their IBAN's. For example Austria have 20 while Belgium have 16. Ireland is meant to have 22 digits.
I've been looking for the IBAN numer I used but can't find it. - Gimme a sec

    Got it.....

    GB56 BARC 2036 4753 2844 22

it seems I use the UK neteller account. That seems a bit weird......

those digits are a checksum, like the last digit on a barcode. You can generate them yourself if you know the rest of the number, if you google it you can get a program that will generate them for you.

    try this one http://www.iban-rechner.eu/ibancalculator/iban.html

Thanks I was able to work it out from one of the validators off the IBAN wiki page.
