Gazebo at Castletown, Celbridge: Update

A Site Notice has been placed on the Castletown Gazebo today by the developers, stating that they are applying for Planning Permission to build five 3-bedroom, terraced houses on the site, in spite of the existing Enforcement Notice to reinstate the Gazebo.

how can this be?? I thought they had to rebuild it, has anyone contacted the local TDs?

The Planning Permission has been REFUSED by Kildare Co. Council. There are 3 conditions that are not on line as yet.

The enforcement notice is to be discussed and a progress report given at the CAM on Friday 14th November.
Councillor Kevin Byrne and Emmet Stagg T.D. have called on KCC to take legal action.

Was'nt that a pile of rubble in ruins? was'nt it a hangout/meetup/loitering place for teens and a dumping ground for empty beer cans & crisp packets? What's happening now with it all? Any updates?
