    Folks,

If i open my browser and type in www.boards.ie i get the "server not found" page.

The only way I can access it is through a web proxy.

Ican't ping the site either. Can anyone shed some light on this please??

It does indeed. Although when I log in it won't keep me logged in.

Sounds to me like a DNS problem with your isp. Try using OpenDNS and see will it work then.

When you ping www.boards.ie, does it give you an IP address? (regardless of whether you get a reply or not)

If so, what are you getting?

You should be getting 89.234.66.107 - try putting that into a browser. If it works, it's most likely a DNS issue. If not, it could be a routing issue (ISP problem)

Edit: oops, just spotted that jmccrohan narrowed that down above...
