Michael O'Leary for Taoiseach

Politics in Ireland is exceptionally dull. It would be a lot more fun if Michael O'Leary came onboard. He could sack the Civil Service & run the country as a profit making business!!! The guy is obviously razor-sharp intelligent, articulate, ruthless when he has to be, decisive, has a coherent vision and philosophy (even if many of us find that vision rather distasteful) and is focused on getting things done, with a track record of real delivery.

Yes - the economy may have boomed during Berties reign but how many of us are paying dearly for this 'boom' each month?? How many of us are faced with the thought of a 1.5k a month mortage when we are passed retirement age? How many slave for 50 hours a week just to pay a childminder to look after the kid we see for an hour or two a day??

Come on - vote now! :D

It'd be a bit of a pay cut, dunno if he'd go for it :) He made €992k last year in salary+bonus alone.

Wow, imagine if he was Taoiseach for the past 10 years, all the Motorways long finished,we would now be enjoying a real Celtic Tiger , not the current Celtic hangover due to the Celtic overdraft the country has being floating on for the past few years.
