Not sure but I installed it on my Inspiron 6400, worked a treat for about an hour then updated the video drivers and the wireless networking failed, funny to see it running on a dell.

ps: used a legally held copy of Tiger.

I don't think it matters if you own a legal copy of Tiger, Leopard, whatever. Apple's license agreement says you can only install it on Apple branded hardware.
