G&P are very good. In my opinion, a wee bit better than CA. I think they are made in Hong Kong. Check out Rewolf, they have a good collection of them.

g&p are very nice, you normally have to version g@p that are made fully by g&p and the g&ps that shops buy in kit form in hk and make up themselves, most hk retailers have this under there custom section and are normally good value, for example the wgcshop customs would come under this category and you can get a plan m4a1 for 230usb a bargain in my eyes.

Src are coming up in the world, there older offering where almost at your normal clone level, where as the new g36 and hk416s and rpks are meant to be good value for money and good performers.

i have g&p aeg's...great value. very accurate bodies as it happens. some people recommend redoing their gearboxes, but i have had no issue with mine. the gearbox is loud which does point to a reshimming but not an issue so far.

i am looking as we speak for a price from wgc for their 733 and for 30 or so euro wgc will also get it under the 1j for you...

they also do great accessories. i am going to try and get their vest and pouches as its on ehobby. i also have recently swapped my mags for the g&p metal ones and their illuminated mags...no issues with any of them.

just got an email from wgc, both the 733 and their downgrade service to 1j is out of stock...bugger

They're designed to be ran off 9.6's.

The G&P piston is one of the best around, and also the motors are excellent.

JG are coming out with their version of it, so you may want to take that into consideration :)

I don't think it would be better value for money, but I'd choose the G&P over the JG def.
