Ive heard rumours that the Indiana Jones franchise might spin-off with more films, using Shia LeBeoff's character from the next Jones movie. Granted I've not seen it yet but i don't like the sound of that.
    Long live Harrison Ford.

Christ.. let the Shia bashing begin.

I think i'm the only one who thinks he's a decent actor. He has a unique comedic presence on screen and has impressed me in the past.

I certainly don't like the sound of that spin-off but I agree with basquille, he's not a bad actor, and has received some undeserved criticism IMO. Thought he was decent in Holes and Disturbia among others.

It really is a bad idea when they start thinking of doing spin-offs without the main stars. Indiana Jones is about Harrison Ford and his character. Hopefully they will leave it be at the fourth (which I am very much looking foward to).

[shialebeouffbashing]But honestly, that LeBeouff fella ruined Transformers and Disturbia. Just hope he plays down the idiotic and cringe-worthy slapstick nerd schtick in Indy. If he doesn't destroy the film, he will go up slightly in my books [/shialabeouffbashing]

I take exception to any actor whos name translates to "Worship the beef"

Am I the only one that would like to see Sean Patrick Flannery get a chance at an Indy film? Got Vol 2 of the Young Indiana Chronicles at the weekend and I'm really enjoying them. Sure some are little more than history lessons but there's some fine acting and get set pieces.

Strange, that's my criteria for liking an actor...

Admittedly he was one of the less annoying things about Transformers (playing a role that should by all rights be as irritating as fcuk to wach)

I just hope this new Indy movie is all Harrison Ford and TheMeat is just a bit player.

I agree, he did a great job in that series.

One of those was in Dublin 1916 with Sean O'Casey and WB Yeats. It was well done but some of the other episodes were pure muck. I mean he joins the Belgian army and goes to the trenches and barely gets a scratch on him. Its a pity River Phoenix isn't still around perhaps he could have taken up the whip, again.

I'd rather Sean Patrick Flannery not get to play Indie in a movie. And i think the general population is unaware that he played young indie.

I was unaware anyone disliked Shia unt I saw some of the Transformers threads here. Best thing about that film by some distance imo, and he should do well alongside Harrison Ford.

I liked him in the disney movie from a couple of years ago "holes", which was also a great movie,

all name jokes aside, I actually like Shia in movies. I liked him in disturbia and transformers. He didn't do a bad job in Constantine either.

But then I also think Justin Long is a good actor, he did a great job in Dodgeball and played the part of a geek pretty good in Die Hard 4.0

I don't dislike Shia, but when i hear that John Williams Indiana Jones music playing I expect to see Harrison Ford, not Shia.
I guess what im saying is that i don't have a problem with Shia, i just don't want Lucas doing to Jones what he did to Star Wars. Some things are just best left alone.

I like Shia LaBeouf, and I love his haircut in the indie flick. It's Shia LaBouffant :pac:

I would have preferred Tony Hawk with a Mohawk.

I don't want anyone here insulting Louis Stevens.

    Shia was class in Disturbia.
    Class in Holes
    Class in Transformers.
    Class in Even Stevens.

I deffo don't "get" the bizarre hatred net film-geeks have for Shia. He seems like a decent soak, a good actor & not trying to play up to the badboy 20-something hollywood archtype. Maybe it's just jealousy that a fellow geek has made it big and gets to snog Megan Fox while starring in Transformers & Indiana jones. Envy is a terrible thing.

the same way they hate tranformers movie "its not faithful to the original i hate them!" or the same way people wanted to boycott casino royale "bonds not blonde, bonds not blonde"

    basically, people are idiots!!
