It just seem that people out late at night tend to come across others in need of help.
Some people have been saved for death/rape/theft by hunters but how many..?

Guns are seen as a destructive force within the community by a large percentage of people but hunters have a keen eye for things a miss in the surrounding landscape and lets call a spade a spade, a hunter who has a gun is not really too afraid to approach any situation he happens on! And lets face it we hunters need to embrace any good points, especially if they are not directly related to hunting and if they show us in a good light..

Lets see how many people we can collectively count up as being consider "saved by hunters"
I have saved 1, a woman taxi driver who's attackers fled when they seen the car lights approach in a remote area..
Who knows of other people that have been saved by hunters?

Without turning it into a 'save the sheep' topic Myself and mates saved this sheep up on the mountain trapped in a old silage feeder whilst out shooting woodcock. Well......they told me it was trapped:p

What about the woman who was saved from rape and possible death in hill near balltinglass Co wicklow.
Just before she was saved her attacker told her that he'd give her the same treatment that he gave to Jo Jo Dollard(Girl abducted from Moon, Co kildare).
This was just before two hunters happened upon the womans ordeal. They held the attacker at bay until the police were summoned..

    Hello Everyone..
That Woman that that happened to is actually a next door neighbour of mine
she was abducted from Carlow town where she worked. She was very lucky. As for the two hunters there guns were not raken from them..

Come to think of it that ba***rd is getting out of prison in the next month or so!!
