Hey I have been involved in alternative photo shoots and I am starting to have the basis for a portfolio. Does anyone know a place where they take such work? Outside of the realm of normal modelling. More art based photo shoots. Thanks.............:D

I'm not sure what your question is; your portfolio should go to potential customers, always.

What exactly do you want to get out of your portfolio? A job? A college place? A clap on the back from your mates? Fame? It's kind of hard to make recommendations without knowing any of this.

A good way to show case your work is on a personal website, consider it an online portfolio if you will. It pretty much makes your work available to the world all at once. Of course you'll need the traditional portfolio too, but at least you'll get your stuff in a position where it can be seen while you're working on that.

While I agree that not everything needs a customer and people sometimes do things for the love of it, in my opinion Art = 90% business, just don't ask me what I think the other 10% is.
