Sticker albums from mid '80s - trying to find info

I'm trying to track down two sticker albums that I had in the early to mid 80s. Even the names would do, to see if I could get them on a certain auction site. I've trawled said site and done searches of the web.

The first was from around 1984-85 and was about modern warefare. It featured rockets/missiles, tanks, aircraft, etc.

The second was from a time before that - perhaps late 70s even. It featured the tail crests of different airlines from around the world. The stickers were round in shape if I remember correctly.

    Any information gratefully recieved!

I got the 1982,Spain world cup one.
Eventually got it filled after much blood sweat and tears.
Mentally scarred me though, haven't been able to look at a sticker since.:pac:

Yeah tried the obvious searches. Have also tried the home pages of the respective companies - without joy. Not knowing the name of the albums doesn't help.

I remember the album about modern warfare - my brother had this and we had loads of extra stickers (my Dad worked for Easons!) - we just stuck the stickers into any old slot!
Anyway I will ask my brother if he remembers the name of it

I had Mexico 86 with only 3 stickers left to get. The ma threw it out with a bunch of newspapers and womans-way or whatever thinking it was just some old magazine! The equivilant of finding a €50 note on the floor and just chucking it in the bin.

Never mind tho. I bought a completed one recently that is in better knick than mine ever was , so all is well now. God bless you ebay! :)

My ma has a picture of me as a kid, from the late 70s when we lived in england, holding my sticker album open to the Manchester United team page. You had to get the team crest, team, manager and individual squad pictures to fill the page. Wouldn't let it out of my sight when I had it completed. :)

Ebay definitely a good bet for that sort of stuff, OP.

If you could it would be brilliant. I've searched the web and eBay (have it as a saved search) but not having the correct title doesn't help.

This is a brilliant website based in the former Yugoslavia. It has sticker albums from many years back and people swapping stickers from all over, but mostly eastern Europe.

    http://www.spletkomat.com

Click on the Panini link on the left column to see all the albums they've published.

    ***edit***

    this wasn't it, was it?
