    Hey all
Need some quick help. I have to submit some photos to a paper and need to know is it possible to put "File Info" into photos in Lightroom?

I know photoshop does but I only have lightroom access this afternoon

I need this to caption the photos??

    Thanks

EDIT: Is it just the same as metadata???

The file info you want is sure to be the metadata.

Most probably the caption (your description of the shot), and the technical details.

Yep, the metadata panel in the library module, you can also save alot of it as a preset and automatically add it on import.

Yeah, and make sure you add your caption to the caption panel and not the keywords section as I did! My text kept reordering and I couldn't figure it out. In hindsight the keywords were probably sorting alphabetically or something.

Once you export your images, anyone using say Photoshop will be able to see your Lightroom captions in the description (I think) field.

Make sure you export with full metadata.

The caption will then be visible in any application that can read the metadata (Photoshop, Lightroom, EXif viewers, PaintShopPro, and many many more).
