    Hi Guys ,

In real bother here, to cut a long story short this is what happened .An application was in the middle of a software update and it crashed , had to end task on it .

Now we're missing about 70% of that data that was in the database . I'm told by the developers or designers that the crash during the update would have created a tmp file in the program directory but if you try and open the application again it will wipe this tmp file .

Does anyone know what if any software could recover this file, have tried a few demo's like active undelete but it didnt find it .

    Appreciate any help

Its a timeclocking application, it uses access database .mdb for its database .
Tried PC Inspector file recovery there but still no joy . Anyway I think we've figured a work around so thanks for your interest anyway .
