All through my sister in laws pregnancy we kept meaning to get a few shots of the bump. Finally, 2 weeks ago we got around to it. Lucky enough because a few days later my niece was born !! I haven't posted for a while so i thought I'd throw this up in celebration of the new member of the family.

I think I would prefer a bit of a wider shot, its still a good shot though.

Cheers Lads. I have wider shots Border , but I preferred this close up, as it "feels" more intimate , like you're part of whats happening between mother, father and the as yet unborn baby. But as always with photography, each to his/her own. Appreciate the comments.

I like it a lot. I'd say the couple are very happy with it.

And thanks for the inspiration - my missis is growing our first bump as we speak!

I was pleased with this shot so it's very nice to get such a positive reaction to it on here. Congrats to both Dades and Bigeoino also. I share a house with the couple in question so i have a new captive model as she gets older:-). Thanks Barry , but I wasn't much enjoying it this morning at 5 when she was screaming the house down.Gonna have to rob more ear plugs from intel !! :D

That's a photo I'd love to have taken myself when I had the chance. Well done.
