    Just a political poem i wrote a couple of days ago, thought i'ld share with ye guys here...

    This is a Poem. or maybe an effort of incitement.

    The Voice

    We don't need a new president,
    We need a different government.
    Whether its a black candidate
    Or a lady president,
    Is it a white collar democrat
    or another republican.
    A face doesn't change the world,
    We don't need a revolution.
    We just need a government
    that can follow the words of Lincoln.

    It is you who forms the state,
    don't be a slave to the system.
    Your voice does bear significance,
    its words that bond people.
    What will you do this time around?
    Will you manage to prove your existence?
    Or will you find yourself again
    too comfortable front of the television.
    From 5000 miles away
    you can't feel the heat.
    Soldiers fighting without a reason,
    and blood at children's feet.

    Most of us are intelligent to notice
    but we still haven't learned to care
    enough to bring a difference
    a world with love and peace.
    You can chose to discard the truth
    or you can chose to believe.
    You can chose to take a stand
    or you can chose to resist.
    You can chose to break down the differences
    and unite as one in harmony.
    You can chose a new president
    or bring down the current government.

    You have a voice, use it!
