windows media player 11

    hi just started having some problems watching setanta sports on eircom.net it comes up that windows media player isnt installed, i had been watching it fine up til few days ago anyone have similar problems?

    What browser are you using ? Have you tried using a different browser ?

    tried using internet explorer and firefix neither working, strange cos wednesday it worked thursday it wasnt, just said windows media plyer not installed!

    what version of windows are you using? if xp reinstall media player 11, if its vista ... as i found out recently you cant reinstall it (grumbles) my problem was msn wouldnt show the song i was playing and told me media player wasnt installed when i tried to enable it . the fix i applied might work for you in this case if you have vista or if you have xp just reinstall and see happens.

    ok pm me you email address and ill email you some registry files.
    be warned though as all sites say "you use these at your own risk and
    I accept no responsability for any bad things that happen yadda yadda"
    but as i say i used these and they fixed my problem.
