Applying For Test in Ballymun

    A friend wants to apply online to do their test in Ballymun. The problem being the option to choose Ballymun is not their on the site drivingtest.ie. Anyone know how you go about applying to do it in Ballymun

    im not 100 percent on this but isnt ballymun and overflow testing centre like when you apply for finglas and its too busy they will send you to ballymun so as far as i know you cant choose to go there. But not sure so maybe someone can correct me on this

    Ballymun is an SGS test centre. One cannot choose to do a test there. SGS are allocated a random portion of RSA applicants.

    I was told I was doing my test with sgs and then i was asked where i wanted to do it.

    But you had already been selected to be tested by SGS. Once selected then you can choose whichever SGS test centre suits you.

    .......but you could not have choosen to do an SGS test initially. ;)
