I've been messing about on acoustic for a couple of years now and I'm handy enough so now I'd like to buy a half decent electric (or semi). Was thinking about a Casino coz I'm into the Beatles and they all had one. Plus I think they look cool! Just wondering if they were any good for a first timer or any good in general. How do they play etc. Any info would be much appreciated.

When you get one setup properly they are beautiful guitars. I'm saving up for the 'Revolution Epiphone Casino' at the moment and I'm not far off. :D

If you aren't too pushy about it being second hand I'd reccommend having a look around Adverts.ie or gumtree. I've seen a few of them there from as little as 350 in pretty good condition. Maybe a few minor scratches but worth the money!

Thanks man. I was thinking about saving up trying to track down one of those limited edition John Lennon Casino's they issued a while back. I love the way he had the guitar sanded down, took the pick guard off and finished it off with gold machine heads. It looked beautiful.
