    Hi,
    I'm looking to buy the following Cressi package;

    http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/CategoryID_1902/Context_948/Sort_Stock/DescSort_0/PCKC1.html?Hit=1

    I reckon even allowing for Import Duty etc that there is still a good saving to be had.
    At the same time I want to make sure I'm not buying poor quality equipment.

    Does anybody have any advice on this brand. Is it worth paying the extra for Scubapro, aqualung etc. especially at entry level.

    Hi, I bought Cressi S 111 BCD on line with scubastore and I am very happy with it. However don't know anything about Cressi regs. I would not buy any regulator on line unless you know you can get it serviced in your local dive shop. May not prove as cheap in long run.
    Also there is concern that some equiptment bought through leisurepro may invalidate warranty. You can check this out on Aqualung web sites in US and UK. You could also check out Flagship scuba www.flagshipscuba.com (Apex & Aqualung regs) or Great Outdoors www.greatoutdoors.ie (Scubapro).
    Also if you support your local dive shop you may get better advice from the experts. I wouldn't try to save money on your regulator or Octopus since your life ( and your buddys) depends on this.

    O.P while it is a good idea to buy certain products from the USA at the present time (bearing in mind currency fluctuations), IMHO it is not worth it to buy dive gear from the USA because 1. Imperial Measurements & 2. Import Duty. Try instead the 3 below-I have dealt with all of these and are kosher (and more importantly are in the EU hence no import duty & Metric:)) I dealt with Leisurepro before and got screwed with duty.
