Got a letter during the week to say Ive passed the first stage of the interview process (aptitude test) and have an interview next week.

I currently work in a ****y sales job. The pay is great but thats where the greatness ends.

The new job is a step down but at least I wont hate it. Its a clerical postion. But the problem is im overqualified for it. So I need a good answer to the question.
Q ''Why do you want to leave your current job''
A Im not a sales man and I hate the ****ers. All they care about is money and if they could would sell me if they could. :-)

Anyone one know a good answer to this???

    Thanks

What job do you want to do. Is it the next job up from this position. Then you can say that you are looking to get your foot in the door with the company as you believe you will be able to work your way up within the company. Also working your way up from the bottom allows you to see the company from every angle.

Thanks cronos. When for the interview yesterday and I was not asked??

Quite surprised when I left that I was not asked.
I have been to about 20 interviews last year and was asked everytime.
The interview itself went great. I will be doing a fraction of the work I do now. If I get the job I will be put on a panell until the time comes, which suits as I can have a look around for others in the time being.
