Starting boards.ie with a mobile theme

    Hi,

Apologies in advance if this is covered elsewhere. I have read what i can find but to no avail, so I thought i'd do a post.

Is it possible to start boards.ie with a particular theme - for example; from my mobile phone the full theme / skin is terrible slow to load (even the opening page) and there's something about a script which causes the phone to die for a little while.

I've just noticed there is a mobile theme which looks like it would work wonders for me.

Is there anyway for this mobile theme to be loaded instead of the full theme when you access the boards.ie url???

    Hope that makes sense,

    Thanks.

You can go to UserCP->Edit Options and scroll down to 'Forum Skin', if you change that, it should default to whatever is then when loading. Hope that is what you are talking about. :)

You can go to this link which will change your boards.ie style to the current mobile one.

If you log in under your home PC you'll want to access via this one so that you're not looking at the mobile theme on your home PC.

    Alternatively:

    Mobile theme: http://url.ie/azb

    Normal theme: http://url.ie/aza

As Ruu mentions you can also change these via your UserCP, but if you're out and about on the mobile, you can use that Mobile Theme link to change to it automagically.
