    Muffler, you should have at least giving someone a chance to put him straight.
    It's not illegal to use svo in a vehicle if you pay the vat at fuel rate which is higher than food rate.
    If you buy it in a shop you are paying food rate vat and cheating.
    There are companys who supply svo for vehicles and you get the vat receipt and show it to the garda if you are stopped.
    The environmental advantages of using svo are
    The svo is grown here theres not a lot of fuel wasted in transporting it .
    It takes vast amounts of polluted water to produce fossil fuel.
    svo is simple to produce you simple squeeze it and the leftovers are feed to cattle.
    When the rapeseed oil plant is growing it absorbs co2.
    If the engine is properly converted it produce carcinogens
    Its renewable, yyou save some seed and plant it again.
