    Friends and Lovers
    by: Sinead Ciara Mc Cormick

A friend and a lover, the worst of all kinds,
For anyone to do it, would be out of there minds,
Things can go right, but also go wrong,
Don't do it unless you know you are strong.

If your really good friends, don't mess it all up,
You really got to know when to stop,
If you make better lovers and want to get more,
You both got to talk and see whats in store.

Make sure you both know where the two of you stand,
Cause things can go wrong with the shake of a hand,
If this should happen and it all might end,
You might lose your lover, more importantly a friend!

You really need to learn the difference between "your" and "you're" as well as "there" and "their".

You are right there,i didn't write the thing obviously.

I found it in the competition section on www.poetry.com and thought it was nice.

You probably should've mentioned that in your opening post. How were we to know you weren't Sinead Ciara Mc Cormick?

Also, this poem should be stickied in the PI forum!:D

I would have presumed that with a name like 'Mr.Mister' in which i have,it to me would have been common practise to think that i'd be a male and not a female.

    Just my own opinion like...

Ever heard of irony..? ( using "mister" like a double negative ;) )

It's a little cheesy...kind of like something you'd read stuck on fridge.

Trite, banal, doesn't rhyme properly, doesn't scan properly, horrible predictable childish rhythm, poor grammar and spelling, takes three stanzas to state the bleeding obvious - and even that could have been managed in a single line...

    But otherwise it's fantastic.
